Yeah, that didn't last long did it?
He had a great playoff run last year...but he was never better than KD.
Sure, we will see again what happens in the playoffs this year...but being the best player on the "championship" team doesn't automatically make you the best player in the league.
Once again in the regular season, Kawhi is not even top 5.

then the season starts again in the playoffs.

It does if you're what makes it a championship team.
One problem with this standard is that guys like Derek Fisher, Robert Horry, and Ray Allen all "made" their teams into championship teams, in the sense that their teams likely would not have won titles without them.
That doesn't make them the best players, though.
