Earlier in the year, they were valued at $4 Billion, and Dolan claimed he was offered $5 billion but turned it down. But star players don't want to go there, most fans don't care about the Knicks, and the team has been in disarray for years, with Melo being it's lone bright spot since the Ewing teams.
I don't get it. At least the Dallas Cowboys (worth $5 billion) have star players and sometimes make the playoffs.

Location. Market. Marketability.
Imagine if this team had a winning ball club and a superstar on the team.

You would think some superstar player would be tempted to take advantage of that. Maybe if Giannis gets an itch for a big market team. Or Zion after his rookie contract is up.

The most famous arena in the world MSG
Plus NYC. I can't tell you how much this city likes basketball. Starving for something. When the Knicks are good, they overtake any of the other teams in this city, Yankees included. Unfortunately it's been so long since they were anything interesting.
