The things this man is able to do with a team full of unselfish players that play for eachother instead of playing for empty stats and IG mirror selfies are absolutely incredible. Spo is one of those coaches that can literally win any game. No matter the team he is facing, no matter how up or down his team may be, his mindset is consistent. His rotations are excellent and he has always been great at managing his guys as long as they aren't narcassistic drama queens.

It is unfortunate that he coached a player that has a lot of casual fans that don't understand basketball and downplay Spo's greatness but hopefully he will be remembered by us purists.

If any team can sneak a chip this year it's Miami and for Spo's sake I hope they do it.

I've always said this to everyone; Spo carrying a choker like Lebron to 2 rings is quite an underrated feat.

Of course this dumbass couldn't make a thread praising Spo without making it all about Lebron

Melting down and obsessed:yaohappy:

He's been a top 5 coach for a while, Heat went 30-11 that one year(I think 2017) with no stars on that roster to finish the season. Heat have a shot now that they finally have a star again.

How many playoff series has Spo won without Lebron?

Anyone know :confusedshrug:

Can you imagine being Spo standing on the bench, in your first Finals, watching how Lebron scores 8 pts in 30+ minutes of play while being guarded by J.J Berea, all the while getting torched on the other end by Jason Terry? What's going through his mind at that very moment? Rage? Disgust? Anguish?

You just made it to the Finals to go out on a whimper like that.... tough to experience for sure.

The torture the man had to endure to get the diva some rings is really something else.

He won me over with that look in his eyes upon reacting to Lebron bumping him. Pure 'if I weren't such a professional, I would kick your ****in ass.' It was clear he wasn't gonna take any shit.

I am sure all that rage went away once Lebron had one of the best post season and finals run of all time the following year and the year after. :lol :lol

Unless you count playoff games since 2015. He's really struggled to win those. But other than that he can win any game. Unless you count regular season games since he's failed to get a winning record 3 of the last 5 years. But sure, he can win any game.
