Not a bad class! I was pleasantly surprised by the U.S. Express and Bull Nakano picks especially they rarely get any coverage. But I tend to treat the WWE Hall of Fame like a show.

And as she's dead...The Rock is basically getting his mom in the Hall of Fame.
Not a bad pick persay....but Bam Bam Bigelow main evented Wrestlemania and Ole Anderson was a guy who could have been a 3 time Hall of Famer based on his resume, and Brian Pillman still isn't in the Hall. Giving the posthumous slots to the Rocks grandma and Muhammad Ali is just...not great in my eyes.

It could get fixed if they would just clear through the posthumous nom field and do away with the diversity quota's.

I guess they want Rock involved, among other things. Roman almost always won his title matches that way, with tons of interference especially when he looked to be in deep trouble. It ties to other storylines for either closing them or being used in the future as well (Usos, Cena vs Solo, Seth and the Shield, etc).

Good SummerSlam event.
- Unsurprising, but Dom turning on Rhea ended up being executed to perfection.
- Bron Breaker, LA Knight and Gunther all becoming new champions. Priest/Balor feud will be interesting.
- Roman Reigns returns and shows Solo who the OTC is.
Going to be interesting to see the old Bloodline vs the new Bloodline.

AEW's Lucha Bro's are coming to WWE...not sure if they are going to work in the WWE system.
Very happy to see the improvements of Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis the Wyatt Sicks has a ton of potential.
Also happy to see the potential of a New Day explosion with Kingston/New Guy and Xavier/Big E because I do think this is a sign Big E is making his return.

RIP Kevin Sullivan... had a great wrestling mind outside the ring.
"WWE is saddened to learn Kevin Sullivan has passed away at age 74.
A unique and influential figure in sports-entertainment history, Sullivan found success both in the ring and behind the scenes with his penchant for far out ideas that pushed creative boundaries.
As a villain, Sullivan was a major rival for the ring’s most legendary heroes, including Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan and The Road Warriors. He specialized in leading dangerous factions, which included his wicked Army of Darkness, collegiate bullies The Varsity Club, and the wild Dungeon of Doom, which introduced Big Show to the wrestling world. The onetime “Taskmaster” also became a creative force behind the scenes for WCW.
WWE extends its condolences to Sullivan’s family, friends and fans.

Axe is a fat Japanese boy with 50+ alt, so that's why I was suspicious. He's the type that might create an account for a specific purpose, such as to talk about wrestling, and use a wrestling catchphrase as his username. (It helps him remember the purpose of the alt.)
He might actually be Mexican, though, (like TheMan) and not Japanese.

Of course, Burning Hammer breaks the news of Sid's death. Burning Hammer should seriously consider starting a TMC like website. He is up to date on everything going on in wrestling, and obscure internet stuff. Might as well make some money. It reminds me of Axe and his dedication towards his alts.
I was thinking of Sid yesterday. About his size. How Hulk Hogan is pretty big himself, but looked intimidated when Sid was entering the WWF. (I was watching videos of Sid in that era, around 2 months ago). I didn't experience Shawn Michael's time as the WWF champions, but I watched a title match of his against Sid a couple of months ago, and it made wrestling seem so fake. Because how can anyone believe that a man of Shawn Michael's size could begin to do anything against Sid in a real fight. It was just not a good look.
I also watched a video of Sid and Steve Ray talking at a convention of some sort, (Bret Hart in the background), which reminds me of Can you dig it?

I never knew about this story, but this was supposed to be the debut of some Axe looking guy called "The Shockmaster." He was supposed to break through the wall, making his debut. But the Axe looking character fell to the floor, his helmet came off, all live. It was a highly embarrassing moment.
In an interview from 10 months ago Sid mentioned that in rehearsal he told the crew people to remove a 2x4 at the bottom of the wall, because the Axe character is going to have the mask on, not able to see a thing, he's going to trip over. Sid said that they dismissed him.
At first I thought Sid was probably exaggerating a little bit, that he didn't really warn them, but he said that in the audio you can hear him saying, "I told you that shit was going to happen." So I watched the video of the Axe botch, and Sid said, "I told you. Oh God." (Then Stevie Ray or Booker T says, "Who is this mother f*cker?")
All the comments were about Sid's effort to save the promo, staying in character, pushing through it.
You can tell that Sid was a really nice guy, from the Harlem Heat story, to the fact that he really wanted to save the Axe looking wrestler from major embarrassment.
It was such a cringe promo, even without the Axe looking guy falling.

You don't know that. I've gone periods in which I purposefully did not bully you. (The same with RRR3. I didn't bully him for around 5 years straight.)
If you take it off, I'll stop bullying you for a week.
But speaking of his avatar, this is why Axe might not be as stupid as he comes across. He didn't just download a pic and make it his avatar. He, for some reason, edited and raised the highlights. It makes it look worse, it's something insignificant, but it indicates a level of engagement and intention that reflects some thought process, rather than just a mindless action. Perhaps he wanted to help other differentiate his from RRR3's.
In fact, he did the same with a previous version of the avatar, in which Jose Raul Capablanca was smiling. And I suspect that Axe edited the image himself to make him appear as though he was smiling. Because I couldn't find that picture at all.
So like I keep telling people, Axe is not that stupid.

Good eye. This is remarkably accurate. Even Axe has to agree. Piper went off down a similar road that I would have gone down. The jobber reminded me of RRR3, quite frankly. It's like you get bullied and bullied for years, and instead of manning up what do you do? You announce to the world that you would have sex with a trannie. And even if you would, why would you admit that? First, it's disgusting, and 2nd, you're just going to get bullied even more.
And Axe. According to the comments, this Frankie Williams was a jobber. And Axe is an ISH jobber (which I mentioned earlier). The whole segment was truly the equivalent of Axe vs jstern.
And I like Axe. I'm a fan of Axe, I always try to toughen him up so that he could be stronger in real life (I feel ISh has benefited him in this regard). And I've always had the desire to meet Axe in person and rough him up a bit, just to man him up. Just to condition him to fight back. A black eye heals, but it's worth it for him if it helps him make him a man. I would always be careful with him, but him risking a concussion is worth it if it helps him become a man.

How old is Burning Hammer?
Looking at Patrick Chewing's clip again, before the fat guy jumps over, the people in the crowd are looking at him because he seemed to be taking it a little too real. Perhaps the guy was autistic and thought wrestling was real. Though the guy has the Axe look, Axe had yet to be conceived back in 96, and Burning Hammer is always posting the "It's real" to him clip. I get the belt was wasted on swerve if they were going to run a program with hangman, but he was a breath of fresh air during his run as champ at a time when the product was feeling stale.

Danielson's time-limited, win-or-retire championship reign will be more interesting though. I'm intrigued on who will be the one to semi-retire him in the next 4 months.

My best guess would be Darby. He is a superstar in waiting that needs it to shine on his own away from Steve.

Did Sid have the best look in pro wrestling history? He was like a real-life Chip Hazard/G.I. Joe. Like an exaggerated hyper-masculine stereotype of an American military character in a Japanese video game or anime. Brock had a similar thing going on except shorter and stockier but not quite as angular/sharp in the face.
Sid was even jumping up to the canvas early on like Brock:

Yeah when I think of wrestling physiques, like real imposing physiques, I think of Sid as the prototype. Followed by guys like Ultimate Warrior, Kerry Von Erich, Goldberg, Batista.

I wonder if that clothesline was meant to go that way. The guy landed halfway on his head.
Was this guy a jobber?
Axe is the ISH jobber, and I don't care how strong Sid was, he wouldn't have been able to do half of the moves that he did on that jobber. Such as pressing him over his head to throw him back into the ring.
^^So autistic this obsessed idiot still can't stop thinking about me.

I'm starting to get Sid vs Jobber recommendations. And again, I don't care how strong Sid was, there's no way that he would have been able to power bomb Axe (The ISH jobber) in such a manner. It would break Sid's back, due to the extreme stress on his spine. Herniated disk, shoulder joints, rotator cuff muscles. It would all get f*cked. Imagine tearing a muscle trying to pick Axe up. :facepalm The worse would be if Sid tried to pick Axe up, he's going to lose his balance, and then die, dropping Axe on his head. Or imagine Sid's elbow coming out of place, dislocated. Or his legs breaking like it did in 2000. That was the end for him.

Axe can’t be a jobber because he never leaves his mothers basement
Maybe if they did some sort of “incel basement beat down match” where Sid goes to axe’s mother’s house and beats the shit out of him.
Thst actually doesn’t sound too bad.
Chef called. He said he doesn't wanna use pots that have cracks on them.

For as much as that one jobber looks like Axe, the personality of the other jobber is even more like RRR3. Pure RRR3, reminding me of my fear that one day he's going to get his ass severely beaten in real life. RRR3 could have just simply performed his jobber duties, and have a nice laugh with Sid and his tag team partner after the match, but instead he chose to be a dick, (or to use the words of the Bullying of RRR3's OP, the RRR3 jobber chose to be an ass) not sell for a tag team that as getting a major push, and instead got his ass kicked. Getting bloodied after the cameras were off, back in the locker room.
https://youtu.be/xCaCNfVYyOM
My favorite part is at 0:44, when you hear the manager yelling at the fat jobber, "Get in that ring! Get in that ring, you fat piece of shit!"
I also liked 1:37, after Sid throws the RRR3 jobber out of the ring, Sid and Spivey would have left it at that, but then they see that the jobber is continuing to be a dick, or ass, and in unison they both get out of the ring to go kick his ass.
https://images2.imgbox.com/5f/ab/vnelF3hk_o.gif
It's pure real life RRR3. Instead of being a normal person, human, he decides to antagonize, which if he doesn't stop being like that, it could eventually result in a kick to the jaw. 2qr3 is right, if RRR3 could just modify his personality to something more pleasant, he could avoid such reactions.

What a coincidence, the Axe looking jobber was a name guy, a draw, in Japan.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBDmTr6RkS0
Funniest line in the video, "Of course it is your hometown, you are a local jobber." "They didn't fly him in."
But what a small world wrestling was, this Spivey guy played this character that was in the WWF for like a month back in 1995, that I had completely forgotten about. The character was like a psychopathic con artist.

The Vince doc was solid. I think for a casual it's a great introduction into the wild life that Vince McMahon has lived. I think one more doc about him is rumored to be in the making and I hope it goes further in depth for those that are wrestling fans and already know 90% of Vince's life.

This one particular jobber reminded me of RRR3. Particularly at 1:39, the jobber's face looked kind of similar to RRR3's in the party picture.
I remember 2qr3 mentioning that he's 6'10" tall, so the whole match felt like 2qr3 vs RRR3, due to their rivalry.
