Moses Malone. Fugly but effective.

Harden is not unpretentious and nor is LeBron. Curry, Kobe, Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq, Bird... obviously not. So... who are? In today's game. Luke is not a good candidate and Giannis isn't either.

Name me some players who are really valuable but their games are not exciting to... like anyone. Is Domantas Sabonis a good candidate? Al Horford? Nikola Vucevic? Marc Gasol? Maybe? And which guards or small forwards?

nothing flashy kinda game?

Drummond, Vuc yes, Sabonis...

you notice these are sturdy big bodies who have a solid hook and put-shot.. get down there and score, nothing else much to it.

i wouldnt really say marc though

John Stockton was unpretentious.

Devin Booker... to me he is. Nothing really spectacular but a really good player.

how are you fellas forgetting the best of all them...the Great Fundamental Mr Tim Duncan. He could be three peating multiple times and viewers would still fall asleep in the middle of the deciding game of the Finals series - that's what you call an unpretentious quiet greatness imo!:applause:

I didn't forget him at all. But to me his game was beautiful. I was thinking about mentioning him... but it's a disrespect. Kevin Love at his peak was unpretentious. Duncan No.

Gobert. He is a game changer but outside of jazz fans nobody seems to care.

Jokic is unpretentious but gets a lot of credit for it.

Al Horford is honestly the first guy that comes to mind for me.

He does whatever, whenever. He

On the court, (when able to play) Kawhi Leonard has a boring, slow game but he gets where he wants to and typically makes the right decision.
