Unique open world, wind seems to be the main theme in this game. Never seen that done before

Soundtrack is powerful too, melee combat is precision instead of button smashy.

Looks like Sucker Punch is confident with their product. This is how you deliver a 10/10 demo. Day 1 for me

'SkillUp in his review describes the samurai-combat as a kinda middleground between Sekiro and Nioh, where it isn't like super challenging like Sekiro, but also doesn't have enemies that gives you out unfair one-hit attacks like in Nioh. He describes the combat as mainly around four stances that you vary between enemy types, but within these enemy types are also alot of different sub-types. The enemies doesn't become harder due to things like increased HP-increase or levels (no levels at all in this game.), but more because they fight "better". There's also no lock-on system like say in Batman: Arkham Asylum, so your attacks are directional and dependent on your own movement. There's also lots of optional tools to use such as explosives and such, but they are essentially optional, and the game seems to prefer freedom of choosing what kind of combat you prefer rather than forcing you in various situations. Overall, he absolutely loved it.'

I like this a lot more than I thought I would (and I knew I'd like it before playing it). I feel no need to skip the cinematic parts as they keep me drawn to an interesting story. The controls aren't overly complex and the fighting/strategy is fun. Like it a lot more than RDR2.

Game is cool, just finished act 1. Stealth is way too easy however and makes the game simple. I try to avoid it all together when freeing villages but certain missions call for it and makes the experience dull.

def check out the Legends multiplayer after you finish the campaign, it's wayyyyyy better than expected and has loads of end game content

Ghost of Tsushim should have won game of the year, both tlou2 and this were top notch

One of the best open world action/adventures in a min and crazy good looking on PS5 @ 4K-60fps

Possibly the most beautiful looking art direction ever. Story great, combat good, replaybility on Legends is awesome too.

Also the chasing foxes/shrines were stupid tedious. Artificial game fillers that served no purpose other than to extend game

I don't mind that...gives you a break from combat and lets you explore the landscape, and this is the first game where I actually want to explore the land...amazing art, can't wait to see the sequel on PS5 that is going to be stunning.

The combat is the meat and potatoes and it NEVER gets old...there are 1,000 ways to chop up enemies and exploring those different ways just never gets boring.

For me this game is a 10/10...it's fantastic.

You have to appreciate the amount of care that is gone into the game, every side quest feels so intricately designed and not just some randomly generated fetch quest

yah it gets real juicy midway 2nd act, start to get your ghost abilities and bossfights


I wouldn't go to ham on the side quests though, the story mode is more than enough content. I was burned out by the end trying to finish every side mission

After 6 months I have finally entered the final act of this game

I have to say Ghosts of Tsushima takes the Assassin's Creed formula and does it better than any Assassin's Creed game
