If Celtics wants to be a legit contender, they got to get a big man

It was a close game last night in between Boston and Philly... but no doubt, Philly dominated inside and Boston had no answer to Embiid.

Said many many many many times... Celtics are missing a big man or two... even when they had Horford. They really need to make a move to get a big man.

Is Tacko Fall injured? The game was so closed last night and if Fall had like 8-10 minutes, get a couple of crucial rebounds, the result could be reversed.

Yeah Fall might have been useful in slowing down Embiid, I wonder what the reasoning was for him to not enter the game.

He's slow but his size would've bothered Embiid.

Very true unfortunately. Even if we had Aaron Baynes back it would make a huge difference. Daniel Theis is great but he simply isn't big enough. Kanter is great in his current role as backup center but that's all he really can be.

Oh well. Let's see what Ainge can do. This team is damn close to going far in the post season.

Be honest, if using either Tatum or Brown as chip to get a legit big man, I don't mind...
It is sad, but we definitely need a true big man.
Kanter and Theis are PF and backup center.

Smart is a very good defender but he has his limit and can only defend up to a certain point against real big man.
Can't expect him to get Embiid or other big man into foul/shooting trouble every single game.
Best way to handle a big man is to have a big man.
