Even before I finished reading your post, I knew that mixing a pitbull with another dog, especially a smaller breed, was not gonna end well. Pitbulls are one dog family pets, sure there are exceptions but these dogs were specifically bred to chase down rodents and then later to fight. I've owned pitbulls, I have a female now that we've had more than a decade. I don't agree with those who try to sugarcoat what a true pitbull is. You have to be careful with a pitbull, not smart to leave them alone with small animals and especially children.

Personally all my experiences with pitbulls have been great. My father-in-law owns a brindle coated pitbull since she was 4 weeks old. She's never bit anyone and at the times I was comfortable with my 6 year old daughter sticking her full hand in our mouth play biting. Never has hurt anyone or anything. Only thing I don't like about that dog is she has a huge ass reservoir of energy that is hard to burn off.

Honestly it's just a higher risk. You're risking either way. plenty of people with non-pitbull families that had a family dog for years attack and kill kids out of the blue just becuase they took a toy or ball or something.

Grant it, pitbulls have a way higher possibility of hurting and killing someone, but it's all risk nonetheless.

Personally my in-laws raised that pitbull with three other dogs in the house. Two Saint Bernards and a German Shepherd. The other three were already two or three years old while the pitbull was a pup. That pitbull never has bit anyone or the dogs. Only growling sometimes over something like food or a bone from the other dogs like any normal dog does.

I believe the advanced statistics that people get killed or our hurt more, but I also believe that many of those people owned pitbulls were ignorant of the breed and didn't properly raise it either. They were one of those (if you raise it not to fight and be aggressive it they'll be fine) You have to put more energy and training into that bred if you don't want it to be aggressive. Hence putting those dogs with lower aggression breeds. And now that pitbull is 6 years old and is the closest dog out of all of them with my daughter.

This. I've said it before but I guess not in this thread. We shot one point blank 6 or 7 times with a .22 that was locked on to the neck of my friend's lab. Fvcker still didn't let go! There was 4 of us kicking and yelling at the thing the whole time too. Finally my friend put the muzzle of the rifle right up to it's head and fired. The demon spawn finally let go but still wandered off quite aways before it dropped dead. Their determination is almost supernatural.

One ripped off half the facial skin on a business associates grandson too. He told his son he needed to get rid of that dog when he had his kid but the son insisted it was a sweet dog that would never harm a fly. Kid is disfigured for life.

That's the thing. The average person with the average dog probably isn't at great risk of their dog hurting someone. The odds shoot up immensely that their dog is going to hurt someone if their dog is a pit. I'd be willing to bet most pits that attacked people were raised by people who treated their dog just like the average person treats the average dog. Something is wired wrong in their heads. There are 3 Cane Corso's in my neighborhood.

One is kind.

One is playful but so loud, barking every time sees us while we are walking.

That stray dog is actually a very kid dog, when we come across it lies down, roll its back (passive submission) and lets my dog to sniff.

Once, they let 10-12 years old kids to walk with that Corso without any adult. While another neighbor was walking with his old dog and 4 years old kids. That Corso attacked them and our neighbor pulled his gun to the Corso to his kids and old dog.

Cane Corsos are 45-50kg (100-110lbs) and only people that can train dogs well should be able to have that big dogs.

The more obvious thing when it comes to these dogs, and all dogs is, as it’s been studied, and as it only makes sense, since humans unnaturally altered the nature of dogs. Form follows function. DOGS LITERALLY LOOK LIKE WHAT THEY ARE.

Poodles are fluffy and lean to SWIM. Their brains are wired to enjoy and naturally go out into water and fetch something. Newfoundland dogs have webbed paws and a huge heavy coat to swim in water easily and naturally save human lives.

If a dog had a physically makeup, it’s brain will literally compliment it. It literally makes 1+1=2 sense. It’s the literal basis for breeding dogs in the first place. Centuries ago.

Pitbulls have large muscles, a wide head, extremely wide snout, and were bred exclusively for killing. Their brains are built for it just like their bodies. This is dog biology 101 but you have MILLIONS of ****ing idiots who have never been taught dog science on any level, and are just allowed to be completely retarded about dogs and think they can make up what the **** a dog is, does, wants, feels based on how THEY FEEL.

That lack of critical thought needed to believe an animal that would rather lose its eyes than to stop tearing a random 5 year olds face off - is somehow ignored, trained, or neglected into being that way is unreal.
