You're crazy. Educated Mexicans speak a very easily understandable Spanish. Some of the lower class speak a Spanish that I could see could be hard to understand but that happens everywhere, sort of like how you could easily understand an educated Englishman but those who are from the working class and speak with a cockney accent, those are hard to understand, same with Scottish working class. The hardest Spanish speakers to understand by consensus are the Chilean people.

I'm not related to anyone who was "gifted" free asylum into the country, so I can't relate either way. I think the disdain most Cubans and probably other Hispanics also have (especially from South America since there isn't a border to cross) is for that very reason, that a lot of you skipped the line. That and all that "pinche guey" shit no one can understand. :lol

TheMan is probably right. A lot of the Mexicans I've been exposed to are probably the equivalent to speaking to someone from the South.
