How bad are the Pelicans? 6-24 with young Ingram, Lonzo, Hart core

I really felt they would achieve more this year, after all the Pelicans only won 35 games last year so I was projecting a small bump to 38-40. They are on pace for half that so how are they so bad?

Because this is their first season playing together and every single starter has dealt with injuries and Zion has yet to play a minute.

I know what you want to do but please leave your love for LeBron out of this thread. This is about the Pelicans young core. Ingram looks solid, and Ball and Hart are decent. Sprinkle in Jrue Holiday and that isn't a terrible team.

It's not a terrible roster but literally every starter's been injured to start the season. You pair injuries with inexperience and you find yourself in the lottery.
