It's a mess.

You got half of them turning on Ray Allen and acting like he wasn't a part of it.

Glenn Davis acts like some big shot and says shit like Doc can't coach, and he was a key part of the team. When he literally was a whipping boy carrying Garnett's bags around.

Never seen a championship team try to milk the prestige of a title as much as them. Is it really that big a deal? They got gifted that title because Gasol got bullied all series long... like congrats..?

I was never a fan of KG as a player. He seemed like a wannabe tough guy who was really a soft ass jump shooter.

Having said that the reason he didn't win much in Minny was due to horrible management. Among other things they lost some draft picks due to an under the table deal with Joe Smith. McHale was an awful GM.

When they did finally get some players there (Sprewell/Cassell) they finally got past the first round.

Boston's big 3 was very different from Miami's big 3. They were all in their 30s when they came together from teams that were going nowhere.

Cringe is not the word I'd use, I thought that was an awesome group of guys and was legitimately excited to see them play together. And they were absolutely entertaining.


However I do agree that they talk about that title team as if they defied all odds to win the title lol. They were the favorites that year, no one had the Lakers making the WCF let alone the finals that year, it was Boston as the favorites.
