Westbrook makes a lot of mistakes, but he'll never lose being passive.

Westbrook gives the Rockets a puncher's chance in any game or series.

Paul's passivity is a major flaw.

Westbrook has destroyed all haters.

Westbrook has always had heart. I hope him and Harden win a ring.

I'm not completely against it.

Heads would definitely spin. :lol

Westbrook has been phenomenal since that Toronto game 2 weeks back and I'm loving it. Hope he keeps it up and carries it into the playoffs. Would love for him & Harden to finally prove the haters wrong this season

paul's definitive passive but i prefer the mistake free play and the fantastic shooting. OKC fans have done a complete 180 on him for good reason, possibly still the best player on a playoff team for now.

I agree Hou has a fair chance but I dont think they're as good as they were 2 years ago. The LA teams and Mil arent as good as GS.

Westbrook goes hard every game and is one of the most durable players in league history, unlike CP0.

We really need a Rockets - Clippers series, WB vs Beverley for 7 games

Sometimes the relationship between Harden and Westbrook seems contentious, but I think they're okay with airing out issues and moving on.

I don't think Paul could let go and continue moving.

And Westbrook seems to take Harden's criticism better than I thought he was capable of.

Russ and James are such a great duo because of the impact they have on one another.

With Russ, Harden is playing harder consistently and genuinely playing with more joy. With Harden, Russ is able to pick his spots more and can effect the game just by changing the tempo.

They can also get into each other's face and there's no issue after b/c they're brothers.

Yup, Lebron beat that GOAT OKC team.

I get the criticisms against Westbrook (questionable bball IQ, broken jumper, statpadding, ball hogging) but his motor is insane. It's commendable

Not handling the ball as much either, he doesn't get enough credit for sacrificing his game

Westbrook is apparently one of the best teammates in the league too. Read up on Steven Adams, Oladipo, and some other guys opinions. Hes really supportive of the young players. When Sabonis was a rookie and not getting a lot of time because he couldnt guard the pick and roll Russ had the thunder open the gym up before dawn every morning and he would come run drills with him and a trainer to get him better so he could get some PT. And Adams mentioned he does shit like that all the time. Finding a way to help people who need it. Dennis Schroder and Oladipo were saying hes such a great guy and works so hard he downright embarrasses you into working harder. How do you not go 100% when someone better than you is pouring sweat giving it his all?

People really think hes making guys worse when a lot of the young guys on his team are inspired to higher levels just being near him.

Really. Go google what Victor Oladipo says turned his career around. Who showed him what it takes to be a star. Who showed him what professionalism is effort wise and what it takes to get better. Who showed him how to go from good to great. Dont take my word. Look into it.

"He's a very nice guy. He helped me a lot especially in the first year. In most of our trips we did something together, watch a movie, have dinner. When I went through all this and did not travel with the team, he kept in touch. He asked me to meet him for dinner. He cared for the person beyond the player. He calmly told me what I should do noting that he would support me if I decided to leave."

I like Westbrook when he's attacking the basket, pull up midrange or play making. I cringe when he launches contested or ill timed threes.. especially at the end of games, really not his strong suit

Of all the criticisms there are about Westbrook, this is the most grievous imo. I can't even recall how many times at the end of a game he's jacked up a completely unnecessary or contested 3, often with plenty of time remaining to get a significantly better look

I agree.

He's erratic but he gives you a punchers chance. Well put.

The only reason the rockets didnt beat the durant curry GSW super team a few years ago was because paul got hurt. He looked incredible when it counted in that series.

Westbrook means well but hes just been an awful playoff player for a while now. He averaged 22 on 36% shooting last year while being a negative defensively. Right now on the rockets he has a big negative spread between ORTG and DRTG, meanwhile Harden and clint capela are big time in the plus. They are the ones carrying this team.

Yea WB gives you a punchers chance... but more likely than anything its his own team hes gonna KO.

Lol. 2018 Paul is a much better and impactful player than current Russell Westbrick.

CP3 has always been a cancerous teammate since his NO days. Didn't he drop a weight on someone?

Harden and Westbrick winning a chip would be hilarious. Probably the most hated duo in the league. People's heads would explode. I'm all for it.

He's also younger. I would take prime Paul over prime Westbrook in a Kobe led-team.

Easy rings. So easy Stern had to get involved and c0ck-blocked the deal - even when Kobe was out of his prime.
