You do know that Giannis idolizes LeBron, right?

The minute LeBron moved to the Lakers, this is what Giannis had to say:

"I didn't see it as open," Antetokounmpo said Thursday. "But now that I look back and see how everything went, it's definitely open, not having LeBron in the East and not trying to go through him."

Yesterday:

"For me, that's one of my goals ... to be able to play at a high level for the next 10 years," Giannis said after shootaround on Wednesday. "But [LeBron's] about to turn 35 this month and he's moving like that, playing like that, playing smart ... it's insane what he's able to do.

"But he's LeBron James, you know. He's different, he's an alien, so ... you expect it from him."

Thread ended. Giannas also stole Lebrons spin move drive to basket, pretty obvious. Bucks only won because Bucks bench scored 30 while Lakers bench scored 4 points

How is it better? He lost in the ECF and ECSF as a #1 seed before leaving, then put up an all-time stinker in the Finals. Giannis lost in the ECF & ECSF and came out after the game and said he's not taking the coward's way out.

Bron's 09 ECF was a far better performance. Both in numbers and impact.

According to the numbers both superstars put up, no.

What do the numbers mean when you end up losing/stinking it up in the elimination? Both lost as the favorites. It's not like Giannis was all-time bad in these runs either, 26/13/5 51.8%FG/58.5%TS in 34 mpg in '19 & '20 Playoffs combined. Lebron put up 21 ppg on 34%FG in 43.7 mpg in those 3 straight losses against Boston, which is arguably worse than what Giannis did in the first 3 games against the Heat.

Giannis is never winning an MVP again unless he gets to 73 wins during RS and he's not playing with another MVP-level player. Not after two PS meltdowns in a row when he won MVP.

I agree with '10 and then the '11 finals, but Lebron evolved after that. Question is if Giannis can evolve, too.

I love how you compare 3 games to 2 playoffs runs.

LeBron put up 32.6/7.4/9.2 on a EFG of 55.2 (Giannis was 55.4 in 2019 and 2020) in 2009 and 2010. And keep in mind that LeBron is smaller in stature and is a primarily a SF. Giannis was a C for the most part.

LeBron´s playoff runs in 2009 and 2010 is better than Giannis in 2019 and 2020.

This ends here.

I'm not. Lebron averaged 33/7/9 in 41.6 mpg, that's almost 9 more minutes a game than Giannis' 33 mpg in the '19 & '20 Playoffs combined. So, he was more ball-dominant and played more minutes, but the result's the same, he still lost.

Just for comparison

Giannis games 1-3 vs. Heat - 23/13/7 3.7 TOV 45.1%FG/50.6%TS 35.7 mpg
Lebron games 4-6 vs. Boston - 21/11/8 6.3 TOV 34%FG/46.6%TS, 43.7 mpg

Giannis did shoot just 54.1% from the FT line compared to Lebron's 74.3%, so it's actually not as bad as it seems shooting-wise with the 45 vs 34%FG, but don't act as if Lebron didn't do the same thing. He underperformed as the MVP on the #1 seed and his team lost as a favorite. That's all that really matters at the end of the day.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo sat down with Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN and explained why he doesn't fraternize with his opponents:

"Was [Kobe Bryant] ever close?" Antetokounmpo told Wojnarowski in an interview released Wednesday. "Was Kevin Garnett ever close with the guys he played against? Or [Michael Jordan]?"

Antetokounmpo further clarified his stance.

"I think it's just being competitive. If I know that I'm going to play against them and I'm going to see them in the playoffs or I'm going to see them in many more years to come, I try to stay away and not build that relationship because I know that when I get on the court I'm going to go 100 percent. And maybe if you build a relationship with somebody or I'm close with somebody, he probably expects me to go 50 percent or take it easy on him. But that's...I don't want things holding me back when I go out there and play."

Also

That has seen him take an old-school approach to the game as he has continued to voice that he won’t work out with other players around the league away from his team. It was something that became clear in December 2018 as he revealed that he turned down an opportunity to work out with LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. (H/T Bleacher Report)

“I can’t work out with you in the summer and then play you in a few months,” Antetokounmpo said. “It feels weird. It doesn’t feel right with me. Like other players, it’s cool for other players, but I don’t. I don’t want to. Other guys do it.”

He may have never joined one, as in, an already stacked team that didn't need him and he came over (similar to KD in 2016), but he certainly formed one. What are you, 18? Were you not around in 2010? Or are you going to claim that the media, league, and fan base didn't call the alliance of Wade-Bosh-LeBron as a superteam?

Nah he’s just Savanah James swinging from his, as we saw, chalky looking little LeDingiling

He formed a superteam in 2010, and 2015, and again in 2020 with the collusion of his sports agency. He needed the on organic, collusion-based, cowardly superteam to get the job done. He’s not organic, a competitive beast like Giannis

Honestly even the super friends thing is overplayed. How good was their friendship? Dwyane Wade decided to stay put, and Chris Bosh followed. LeBron quit on trying to recruit somebody wanting to come play with him in Cleveland. And came all the way down to Dwyane Wade’s home, for help. And then bailed on his “buddy” like a thief in the night in summer of 2014. Not even letting him know in advance. Because he saw the potential of Kyrie Irving and the acquisition of Kevin Love back in Cleveland. Then he had to tuck his tail between his legs and make amends with Dan Gilbert.

You're right. A gangster like Lebron doesn't really have friends. He has loyal subordinates. Wade along with CP3 are the highest ranking members in Lebron's mafia. Holding the lofty title of Banana Boat Commander(BBC). Wade cleared territory to herald LeKing's arrival and going to Miami was a business decision outside basketball(the details of which I won't go into here). Long story short, once the job was done, Lebron returned to his home. Wade was not invited back as he had shown he was of no further value and was promptly discarded(I think Lebron had them break his knees). And Dan Gilbert? Just a name on a piece of paper for tax purposes. He doesn't really do anything. lol @ Lebron making amends with anybody
