AD and Giannis guarded each other the majority of the game. Lebron even started out on Giannis to start the 4th quarter. Lebron picked up 2 quick fouls (Which was his 5th). Then they put AD back him after Lebron's 5th foul. And if KCP or Caruso was matched up on Giannis it was either a switch or matching up in transition (Which was rare). Seriously, there is no good explanation for this. This goes for all players, but it's funny when Lebron's not trying on defense 'he's saving energy because he has to run the offense' but when he decides to put in effort this year he's perfectly capable of playing both ends, as are all NBA players. These dudes are in world class shape and only have to go, at most, 4 minutes at a time. They're just lazy ****s who want to coast at their job a lot of the time, don't make excuses for them.

The refusal of stars to guard other stars really takes a lot of the fun out of the game. I feel like this is an underrated loss in this era. It happened in the past sure, but now we're pretty much guaranteed stars won't guard stars.
