I like how u left out kawhi and kobe. Between the 2 they'll have 8 or 9 chips compared to bron, harden and lukas 3 or 4 :facepalm

And actually lets take bron out of the equation sense we're taking mj out of it. So its gonna be 8 or 9 chips for mj type players vs 0 chips for lebron type players.
I can naybe see luka getting 1 chip during his career so even if that happens at best it will be 8 to 1. Op couldn't be more wrong on this shit :facepalm

They do not play like LeBron.
They do. Ball dominating, court surveying, scoring or dishing, iso style. But they take what the defense gives them.
Kobe, KD are equally ball dominant but less aware, surveying. No playmaking factor, and too much settling.

Kobe, KD, Kawhi 9 championships, 6 FMVPs
id say thats doing just fine

You could say the same thing about Nash and Curry. Ball dominating, scoring or dishing... court surveying... and they are nothing like LeBron. I don't like LeBron's game (even though it was getting more entertaining so far this year) but I really really wish Harden played like him. Harden ball is fugly and really really boring. Harden doesn't play like LeBron at all.

Imagine op put as much effort into life outside of lebron, than he does worshipping his manufactured idol.

Only one of the three won some titles and he needed multiple superstars.
MJ won twice as much so I don't know what OP is talking about.

We have to differentiate between their game approach/patterns, style, and skillset here..
Nash and Curry don't fit what I said at all.
Nash is a pass first, playmake oriented player.

With the exception of 2019 Kawhi who was a stronger version of what Kobe fans think Kobe is, those titles are a product of Shaq, weak era(08-10) and ebay rings on the most stacked team ever.
KB and KD both failed gloriously without a talent/help edge.

Even if you use shaq as an excuse kawhi and kobe still have 3 chips combined. Kawhi is on his way to getting another 1 or 2 in the next couple years so thsts at least 4. How many will harden and luka end up with? I guarantee it wont be anywhere close to 4. Harden wont win any snd luka may win 1 or 2 at best.

Of course i dont know for sure but i can use common sense to predict. Him and the mavs aren't beating the clippers or lakers in the next couple of years and once kawhi and bron decline significantly greek will be in his prime and will dominate the rest of this decade. Luka is nice so i can see hin getting 1 or 2 but if you think hes gonna be better than greek over the next decade your mistaken.

Strange, indeed. The Luka comparison I get... not that Luka plays like LeBron but he is at least a bit similar. But Harden... absolutely not.

1) Giannis may injure himself any day as may many other (Luka included). So you just don't know.
2) Luka improved a lot in a year. If he can do that for 2 more years at this pace, he is probably the best player ever. (Not greatest, best. And we don't know if this will happen... but it did happen to Jordan... so it may.)

Well im assuming neither are gonna suffer a major injury but if greek did than yes that would change things. As far as luka getting better. I just dont see him getting much better. Hes already super skilled so hes almost maxed out skill wise and its nkt like hes gonna get more athletic so i just dont see it. Its not like mj where he came into the league super athletic with lots of room for growth in skill.
This is why i think greek is more like mj this way because hes crazy athletic but he has lots of room to grow skill wise. Greeks ceiling is just way higher than luka and i believe he has the determination, work ethic and discipline to reach it.

Curry. Durant. Magic.
Three players for you who came into the league super skilled and are not athletic. All three improved a lot year after year for at least 4 years to become what they finally have. But you have the kidds, nashes... a great many such players.

But you have the kidds, nashes... a great many such players. Those arnt great examples dude. Magic came in the league balling. He won a chip his first year. His numbers were only lower than years after because he was a rookie and had enough help where he didn't have to score and pass as much. As soon as his best player went down in the finals he stepped up and put up ridiculous numbers.
Durant hasnt changed at all. He was the same player he was in okc. The only difference was he was on a stacked team that played smart basketball. Hes also actually pretty athletic for his height and length. Hes much more athletic than luka thats for sure.
Curry is a fair example but its hard to say because when he first came into the league he was playing under a different system from when he was with kerr winning MVP's and chips.
We'll have to wait and see i guess i just dont ever see luka being better than greek.

durant is one of the best athletes in the league.

It's the "meta" of the NBA right now because of spacing/three point shooting. I don't think it leads to more success compared to team ball like the ball movement of the Spurs/Golden State/Lakers Triangle tho.

Exactly, what are the point of these threads. Although sometimes they are so dumb they're funny but what a waste of clickable space.
