Last week KLove requested to be traded to a contender after only playing 40 games under a new 120m extension

Got a 4x Finals coach Ty Lue fired after only a quick 0-6 start last year

Had teammates in JR and Korver begging to be traded mid season

Now today trading away another Finals fan favorite in JC

:kobe:

Arenas had over 10 life threatening knee operation, 0% cartliage, bone to bone grinding :(

prime Love tho....

Kevin Love: 16, 10, 3, on 44%fg - 36% 3pt
Tristan Thompson: 13, 10, 2, on 51%fg - 43% 3pt

Holy narratives Batman.

The Cavs started winning against the will of upper management because of Love's and Clarkson's winning brands of basketball.

Management wants to tank so they're trading the two players making them win in Love and Clarkson.

Franchised him to 4 years @ 120 mill because tanking

Ah yes

They wanted to make him financially untradeable

Ah yes

The Cavs planned on him winning 50 games in 3 years w/o LeBron instead of 50 in the 1 year with LeBron

Melvin Upton is the worst contract I've ever heard of.

It's really that prime that stands out, tho - he led the league in caught stealing, batted .237 (if you remove the first year of prime, it's .232.), slugged under .400, hit a home run every 33 at-bats, K'd nearly three times for every walk, all while making an average of 10 million dollars per year.

Comparing Love to Arenas is silly. They aren't even close. Love has the numbers of a borderline all-star. I wouldn't put him on the all-star team myself but he's a double-double big. He has value and a contender might just give up a late first to get him. Arenas was a crazy guy who didn't belong in the NBA after all his knee problems came down. A problem off the court and bad player on it.

I understand the cavs need to shed salary as they have one of the highest payrolls in the league, but what are they tanking for? There last two picks are ass, and they don't seem to have any direction

So the plan is just tank and put out the shittest product imaginable?

The idiotic idea of championship or bust is ruining the league, most regular season games are unwatchable because of all these bottom feeders
