my problem with lebron is that he lacks the skill to just start going off.. he's never a threat to bury the opponent with a scoring burst..

he'll have a 40 point game once in a while, but even then it's this slow grind with long dribbles each time and a lot of bully-ball - he wins by controlling the pace to the slow plod he needs to pad stats/find guys, as opposed to a light, quick 40 by curry, bird or MJ where the ball is still zipping around and the whole team is getting off in a blowout

Lebron is an efficient scorer but not really among top 5 when it comes to actual isolation numbers

He's actually ISO-d quite a bit this season (3rd in freq% and number of possessions), but is nowhere near among the top players in PPP (points per possession), he's currently at 0.94, which is 0.02 ahead of Westbrook, a guy who is having one of the worst seasons in his career and who isn't efficient or that skilled in ISO scoring to begin with.
