You have many friends that make plans and then at the last minute send you a text and say let’s reschedule?

It’s annoying because you have to take time out of your day to plan something. And a lot of these people will send you a text out of the blue and expect you to instantly show up.

In the past you couldn’t get away with this as easily. With less cell phones and no text it was a lot harder to just send a text and make up a last minute excuse. It happened but you would need a convincing phone call. Now it’s so much easier for people to control you with a text.

No consideration for YOUR time.

And the crazy thing is you can literally write this about them on Facebook and not mention their names and they’ll LIKE it. That’s the kind of brain dead state of mind that people are in.

And then they’ll finally apologize. And then? They’ll do it again. Rinse and repeat.

The only time I ever get someone to listen is when I draw it out for them and confront them. Then they finally have a change of heart and will start to listen. But it’s sad that people don’t understand these basic principles anymore. It’s like you’re communicating with a dog or something.
