Became a big fan that last season on the Jazz in 2017. Just love the way he plays the game. Always in control and always makes the right play. Sucks he doesn't have the explosion anymore, though. Watch the Celtic game when he's played and you'll see just how much better the offense runs when they have him out there.

Off the ball he was a top tier player in 2017. His impact seems close to that year TBH. Underrated defender too

lol huh? You WANT him to have the ball. He's the best playmaker on the team besides Marcus Smart. He always makes something good happen when he has the ball because he either sets himself up or a teammate for a good shot. You clearly don't watch the Celtics.

Kemba, Jaylen and Tatum all need to score off the dribble after moves, on isos or pickandroll. Hayward can score there too but hes far better offball than any of them. He can score off the catch while moving, catch and shot from midrange or 3, curls off screens, flare 3s, cuts etc

That isn't really true, though. You just have to look at the percentage of his 2 point shots that are assisted on through the years. Even as a scorer Hayward is best when he is putting the ball on floor. He's not really a catch and shoot player. He generally like to use a screen to dribble into a shot and if he comes of a curl it's almost always to then dribble into something else.

Yup. He'll probably be back in 4-6 games at the most, we got a relatively easy home schedule coming up so he can rest for a week or two in preparation for another road trip.
