As I've said before, if Melo is so underrated now it's because he was so overrated before. The media was actually talking about him back in the day like he was on tier of a LeBron, Kobe, or Wade when he was NEVER close to as good as ANY of them. He was at least two tiers below all three, but was always talked about like he was in that category of a player. This is what happens when you are blown up to be much more than you ever were.
