Where were all these supposed Suns fans predicting playoffs before the season? Are you just making this sh*t up? lol I was active on the Suns reddit and pretty much every fan agreed that they'd win 30-40 games tops. This was supposed to be a transition year. Whole new roster, whole new coaching staff, youngest team in the league, still held back by Tyler Johnson's contract... we knew that this wasn't the year. But then they got off to that hot start and people who don't even follow them hop on the bandwagon and overhype them. But real Suns fans were just waiting for things to fall apart like they always do.

But that's besides the point. I'm done defending this sorry ass choke squad for now. There's been at least around 10 games that they should have won but just choked. And I'm not cool with that. I'd be more forgiving of a team who just wasn't good enough to even be close to winning. But a team that has the lead and chokes it away right at the end every time doesn't deserve my respect. It makes no sense. They loosen up their defense to try to not send the other team to the line, so they just give up easy buckets. Or they get burned and have to foul anyways. Then on the other end of the court they just start chucking 3s every possession. It's the stupidest shit in the world. Chucking 3s with a small lead is the easiest way to choke a game, especially when you're not a great 3-pt shooting team. Why not just stick with doing what got you the lead in the first place.

And Devin Booker is losing my respect this year. He's been extremely un-clutch this season late in the 4th, which is weird considering he was usually clutch in other seasons. But I've been openly laughing at other Suns fans who are trying to vote him into the All-Star game for that reason. Dude doesn't deserve it the way he's playing right now. Sure he played great at the beginning of the season but after missing games due to that minor injury he fell off. Been a big factor in us going on this losing streak. He needs to step it up especially in the clutch. Just the other night his teammates put him up by 8 points with 3 minutes left against the Nuggets and they choked, and Booker dropped 11 ****ing points in that game and got stuffed on a game winner attempt. That's not playing like an All Star. Sorry other Suns fans, but we can't be cool with our franchise player losing us games like that.

And where did having TJ Warren get us? He had to be the least impactful scorer in the league. I hate to inform you but TJ Warren just isn't good. One trick pony who plays some of the worst defense I've ever seen. Also was rarely ever clutch late in games. He simply doesn't contribute enough on offense to make up for his god awful defense. He's mediocre at best. Not someone I care that they got rid of. And I doubt any teams in the league were willing to give up anything worth taking on for TJ during a time while the Suns were trying to clear as much space as possible for Oubre and Rubio.

Oubre is already twice the player he ever was. Oubre actually plays good defense and is a way more dynamic/athletic/exciting player to watch on offense. His ceiling is so much higher and I'm glad they managed to keep him even at the cost of giving away Warren for a bag of Doritos.
