It was honestly incredible to watch Kawhi's impact on the defensive end. Dude's outstretched arms would randomly pick up a steal or two every game. Him just being on the court instilled that fear into the opposing team.

Gasol was also huge on the defensive end and still is.

Clyde had more defensive help then that, and so did most of Lebron's teams.. heck, Lebron lost the 2009 ECF with the #3 defense and 18 ppg from his sidekick - MJ won literally a dozen different series with less help on both sides of the ball

Pippen's defensive impact is vastly overrated - MJ was infact voted ahead of Pippen for DPOY nearly every year, and MJ's DPOY led the #3 defense in 1988, while Pippen only had the #6 defense in 1994
