Yet they still lost. Why did MJ lose despite having the talent edge?

It was smarter for him to wait until they got old.

Pip in the 89 series

9.7pts, 7.3rbds, 3asts, 40% shooting, 45 TS%

Pip in the 90 series

16.6pts, 6.3rbds, 3.7asts, 42% shooting, 52 TS%

"migraine, Scottie?":oldlol:

truth was Pip was barely a top 10 player in the series of 89

in the 90 series Jordan, Dumars, Zeke, Rodman and Aguirre were all better than Scottie

If you count Jordan as two players, sure.

So the complete roster got old in one year?

In the 90/91 season

Dumars was 27
Thomas 29
Rodman 29
Aguirre 31
Johnson 34

Damn, ancient! You must be 12 if this is old for you

Jep, pathetic performance from Dad Killer. Worst part is, he complained and complained and complained about ''physical play'', which caused Stern to change the rules. Pathetic display, manufactured 'star' if I've ever seen one. Where would he be without Stern?

The clowns saying the Pistons were old are the same clowns saying the Bulls stacked the deck by trading Will Purdue for 34 year old Rodman.

Rodman didn't enter the league until he was 25 (after spending years being a night janitor in Dallas) and took the half the year prior with the Spurs off. He was as fresh as the come at that point.

Funny but I haven't ever heard of a player being out hurt referred to as "taking half the year off".

He had a separated shoulder. If you keep reaching you might hurt your own shoulder.

Stars don't get traded for Will Purdue.

Kawhit does nothing but. However, we all know the reason Rodman didn't play is because he had issues with GM Pop. He was on paid vacation.

He separated his shoulder in a motorcycle accident. I think that caused more missed games than disagreeing with Pop.

He averaged 5 points and 6 rebounds in his first season with the Spurs.

That is what they wanted you to believe. If you are able to read through the lines, you would know this. Rodman had major problems with Popovich, who was the GM at the time, as well as Robinson, who called him the devil. There's no way he's missing these games if they are on the same page.

Very telling by the way, that an overnight janitor in Dallas is remembered as one of the greatest defensive players and rebounders of all time. Watered down era with car salesmen and grocery baggers.

He played the last 5 months of the season, including the playoffs. Did Pop suddenly forgive him for his transgressions, or did his shoulder heal?
