How?

Wiggins KAT, Covington, Teague

That is a decent core.

I was gonna say Towns has been injured, but they had lost the last 7 games with him anyway. :oldlol:

Injuries, do you not pay attention?

Tough schedule when healthy

Excuses. They'd still be a losing team completely healthy.

Towns and Wiggins don't have any heart and their defense sucks ass. I haven't watched but maybe one total game of them this season but if they're like they used to be, which they are, that's the problem. No heart.

West is a blood bath.

You have to stack the deck to win unless you are an alpha male

Because we play a style that doesn't fit the personnel. A lot intricacies but basically shoot a 3 or at the rim...it isn't that black and white but that's a general summary of the system.

Teague is trash. If you think he is solid then you are remembering him from his Atlanta days. He is WAY too timid to shoot the ball and when he has the ball he usually dribbles for like at minimum 15 seconds.

Covington is amazing but for some amazing reason we are playing him as a 4...playing against the other teams big which really negates how good of a defender and player he really is. But he is so good as a defender that he is still able to be a plus defender despite being so physically mismatched when guarding the other teams big. You put him back on the wing and he'll go back to looking like a potential DPOY and all-nba defender. If you ever wanted an example of how a player can be so misused just look at RoCo. He isn't slowing down or declining or anything like that...he is still really good but when you purposefully put him in a situation where he was a massive disadvantage to begin with and well it's no surprise he looks "worse" then before.

Wiggins is Wiggins. He somehow has flipped a switch. He still doesn't have that much impact but when looking at his first 5 years in the league and how he carried himself and his work ethic...I really don't think anyone saw this coming. I want to emphasize that he still doesn't have that much impact but he legitimately looks like he cares now.

KAT is KAT. Nothing more really needs to be said.

Otherwise the rest of the team sucks but we do have some role players with nice potential (potential! They aren't good role players yet). Layman was actually a very underrated signing but he injured his toe very early on.

Basically it boils down to RoCo is being forced to play in a way that completely takes away what he is good at, we shoot soooooooooooooooooo many 3's without having the personnel to do that and our role players haven't come close to reaching their potential (as in role player potential, not starting potential).

And KAT keeps getting shitted on because he basically has to average 26+ ppg on 51.3%/44.4% (on 9 attempts)/79%, 13+ RPG, 4+ APG, 1+SPG, 1.5 BPG for us to even have a chance. in the 16 games he played before the losing streak started we were 9-7 with him getting those averages.

Weak leadership. Expecting a BETA that inspires no respect to lead you to a chip or deep playoff runs is a losing proposition. That's without looking at the intricacies of why they fail. If you don't have the first, why even bother with the rest that's bound to follow by default.

Wiggins KAT, Covington, Teague

That is a decent core.

Just watch them, the team is absolutely garbage it's crazy. Guys can't dribble, can't break a defender down, can't pass off the dribble, horrible shooting, Covington still thinks he's on the 2 win 6ers so just jacks horrible 3's. Seriously outside of Wiggins and KAT they are god awful.

Jason Kidd is the answer - let him revamp the team and punish the players...

Thy will be happy he is fired, and start playing finals ball.
