You'd have to go back far as '86 when the Spurs and Bulls both made it with a combined 39.6% winning% to find a worse 8th seeds combo.

First time since '88 both 8th seeds prob will end up having sub .5 record by season's end too it seems.

Damn that's a similar win% to the 80s Bulls teams that Jordan dragged into the playoffs as the 8th seed.

I was told the era was WEAK because the 8th seed had such a low win%

This is a weird ass season record-wise. 12 teams above .500, and then sooo many teams that are like 13-20. I guess it'll even out as the games played gets bigger, but DAMN! I say that in all caps because look at the Hawks. They are pathetic.
