This poll is a disgrace and an insult to Bird. Bird might be top 5, Kobe is barely top 15.

Both are winners. If you want to win you pick either Bird or Kobe. If you just want to have fun, you pick Lebron.

Well according to the most, Bird is a better winner. What do you think?

Bird is the better passer and shooter and is at least as clutch as Kobe and has the same mindset. Kobe is a better defender and more versatile scorer. Both unguardable but Kobe's resume is better ultimately so I'll take Kobe.

That doesn't matter. He wasn't the greatest talent evaluator. Either was MJ. The two greatest ever just don't understand how lacking everyone else is mentally compared to them so they have trouble with it. They can't get on the court and scare their players into high performance the way they could as players.

Kobe wins on longevity, Bird would be unstoppable in this era though.

Kobe better ballhandler, driver-slasher-dunker and 1 on 1 defender.

Bird better shooter, post player, passer, rebounder and team defender.

Bird better all around.

Imagine if Kobe won a ring losing the Finals MVP to Cedric "Cornbread" Maxwell. :lol

Good job leaving out the 41% FG. You know, the kind of thing you would hold against Kobe and claim that "Gasol was da real Finals MVP". Funny how when those same standards apply to a player you like you immediately flip-flop like a b*tch.

Let me guess, you probably think Barkley was better than Kobe too but he just had "bad luck" with teammates. :lol

He did not shoot well but in other areas he was more dominant than Kobe: rebounding wise, creating assists wise and defense wise. Barkley was more dominant than Kobe, yes...anyone who saw both play would tell you that. Kobe had a longer prime and a more aesthetic game, that's all.

All but two voters for Kobe are known stans. If they had any ounce of objectivity in their veins, the poll would be even more lopsided (how it should be).

Barkley couldn't win a ring even though he got drafted to a 6ers team with 3 HOF's who had won the title just two seasons prior and was considered one of the GOAT teams of all time.

Moses Malone was still putting up 25 and 13 and Dr. J was putting up 20, 5 and 3. All 3 HOFs mentioned were still allstar players for multiple seasons after Barkley's arrival.

Then Barkley demanded a trade like a b*tch and couldn't win with multiple allstars: Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, and Tom Chambers.

Then he tried to hop on Hakeem and Drexler's coattails and form a Superteam, then he tried to swap out Drexler for Pippen and still couldn't win sh*t.

It's like Pippen and MJ said, Barkley was never gonna win anything because he's a fat lazy f*ck.

Bad bad argument.

Bird is a better shooter, rebounder and passer than kobe AND Michael Jordan. Is he better than Jordan? Better post player and team defender?? Were talking about kobe here.

Anyway "IllegalD" is owning you.

See I'm always torn on these. Kobe is infinitely more skilled but I would rather have Bird on a team any day. Who do I vote for?

Pardon, what? Bird has an executive of the year award along with a COTY.
