He gave Mavs fans an exciting player to watch at the end of a brutal decade after losing Kidd...and played a nice role next to Dirk/Nash for a few years.

But he could never score efficiently enough to warrant his volume.

Kind of a shame, if he Nellie had just truly done what he deep down wanted to do...Finley should have been taking 10 threes a game...and he would have been a much better player for it.
