Talking athleticism not the best player in a respective sport. I naturally want to say lebron because of his freak speed and strength and hes the freshest in my mind just because hes still playing. I was recently watching some bo jackson highlights though and i think hes a better athlete. Hes faster, stronger and was an elite athlete in 2 sports. I was trying to think of someone better than bo but i really cant think of anyone other than Herschel walker maybe or Wilt.

This is not as straightforward a question as it might seem. If we are talking about players best designed to play multiple popular American sports well, it is probably LeBron. But that is largely because height is one of the most important aspects to the NBA and to being a TE in the NFL. There are probably a bunch of other less popular sports where height is a huge factor. Big height itself isn't athleticism. It's actually a hindrance to it. What makes LeBron a special athlete is he is go athletic for his height.

Randy Moss, Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders were all guys that are freaks of nature. Coordination, Speed, Hops, natural ability.. they all have it They also had the high IQ's in sports.

I forgot who said it but someone said Lebron James was like a 6'1 220 pound running back scaled up to 6'8. He's not lanky like most NBA forwards and he's more built to play other sports.
