So dumb, Kuzma has played very well when healthy.

He doesn't command the ball a lot, is young and on a super cheap contract, shoots 57% from corner threes this year and while he isn't a good defender, he's at least tall.

The Lakers won't get be able to get better value trading him and will only hurt the chemistry of the Lakers.

Imagine trading players when you are 1st in the West right now...would not be a good look.

Collison would be a nice addition at this point, let's see if he actually comes back. Bogdanovic though is right in his prime and can technically do everything the team is lacking at a pretty high level.
But yeah, it depends on the decision of Collison, him + Kuz vs only Bogdanovic is too much value to give up.

I love Kuzma, but I have to disagree on that. And even if so, or let's say they are equal, the ways which Bogdanovic scores fits much better for LA.
Lakers are very good, but the missing piece so to speak, is someone who is good at scoring off the pickn'roll and will either force defenders to go over the screens or punish switches effectively from the 3pt line where they usually happen. Plus of course shoot off the ball.

Neither Bradley, Rondo, Caruso, Cook, Green, KCP or Lebron for one reason or another are good at filling this particular role.

Kuzma is to up and down and his Basketball IQ is terrible and Rondo can't shoot trade them both with a first rounder.

Kuzma has had plenty of time to thrive and he's played terrible with bad shot selection and Rondo can't shot when guarded.


These type of players only thrive like Lonzo Ball and others with losing records and just play average and with no defense bench roll players.


If you can get two solid players that will help win a chip then go for it.

Kuzma has been very streaky. His shooting is all over the place, and it makes me bit unsure whether he would be optimal for this team's championship runs.

He also cannot be played in crunch time because we tend to have AD-LeBron-Green-Caruso-Bradley or KCP out there to end games. I don't think we can put Kuzma in there over any of them because they all play solid defense even if they can't shoot very well. Kuzma is shoot-or-bust since he is lacking on defensive end, and you don't want him handling the ball for too long in those crunch minutes or chucking it.

Bogdan looks like a 3pt sniper and he is clutch. You can also plug him in over Green-Caruso-Bradley or KCP easily and get the clutch factor. Imagine AD, LeBron, Green, Bogdan and Bradley/Caruso/KCP to end games depending on match-up and who is playing well that game. Oh and maybe Collison in that mix too. That's true depth :eek:
