beat the Curry/Klay in 16'?
2016 was the Big 3 era, so we need to make it even by giving Malone/Stockton a 3rd star, except I don't think they'd need the 3rd star
surely beating Shaq + 3 athletic guards > beating Curry/Klay

Dray was All-NBA/All-D in 2016, but yeah, don't ever mention his existence in these discussions :oldlol:

Lol check this out..
Shaqs allstar teammates in that series averaged:
15/3/2, 41% FG and 28% 3pt
And..
10/2/1, 36% FG and 0% 3pt
Talk about a guy with no help..that team didn’t have a PG

The Jazz neutralized Shaq's simple, exploitable skillset and his team the same way opponents do to Lebron all the time

Also exposed Shaqs porous defense in the pickandroll over and over
big reason babyboi Shaq has a history of getting swept in the playoffs

technically, choking usually applies only to teams that are favorites

Hornacek/Stockton shut down 3 uber-athletic guards, yet you think they'd have problems with a couple trash bros that can barely dunk?

Yup...
Braun will never beat brains in the long term.
There's a reason humans reached the top of the food chain so dominantly.

Hornacek is underrated by the Gen Z faqs that havent even seen a full 90s game
elite shooter, could shoot and score off the dribble, great in pickandroll, great passer, really good defender, awesome secondary ballhandler.
I mean look at what Joe Ingles is doing on today's league and hes been a top 3 player for a 50 win team in the past couple year and their best overall perimeter/wing. Hornacek was the guard version and rich man's version of Joe. And we know the massive boost guards get in todays league too

OP, will you always use the 1998 Lakers as method of evaluation?
Its stupid.
Kobe was a hype all star.
The '98 Lakers weren't nearly as good as the 2001 Lakers.
Youre just being stupid.

What's funny is the recent 4 all-star teams, pre Durant Warriors of course, were all either a few years away or a few years past their most dominant form. '98 Lakers, '06 Pistons, '11 Celtics, and of course the '15 Hawks who nobody here considers legitimate :lol

The 15 Hawks would be legends if MJ beat them doe.
