And who is next to push him out of the top 15?

AD? I hear all sorts of good about him all of a sudden :lol

Kawhi? Curry? KD? Have they already?

I'll believe 90% of NBA players who faced Kobe night in and night out over 5'6 media dweebs.

Thanks though :oldlol:

Both of those lists are BS!! GOAT shit should be about a player's overall resume. Kobe's overall resume is ACTUALLY arguably top 5 GOAT caliber. 5 rings, over 30,000 points, MVP, two Finals MVPs, etc. What hurts Mamba is the fact he didn't revolutionize the game like MJ, Cap, Bird, Magic, Bron, Shaq, Russ, and Wilt did. Because he seemed so similar to MJ in many ways. But with that said, he's still EASILY top 10 GOAT! For me, you could rank him anywhere from 5-8 and justify that place. The top five for me personally though are MJ, Cap, Bron, Russ, and Magic.

they're only looking at stats and ignoring teammate/team elevation, which has nothing to do with stats and instead relies on style of play and skill level.

Kobe's style and skills were goat... literally.. so his teammate/team elevation is one of the best ever - who else goes b2b with Pau?... almost nobody

kobe won rings in the triangle and averaged 30 - that confirms his goat skill level and status

over guys like Ewing, David Robinson, etc

preposterous.. him and Pau should be side-by-side around 150 (i'd take Pau instantly over Pippen tbh)

I'd take Pippen over Kwame

I'd take Pippen over Draymond

I'd take Pippen over Ray Allen

I'd take Pippen over Manu or Schrempf

But we're talking 3rd options here - MJ won 6 rings with a 3rd or 4th option-caliber player and stats, and elevated him to all-time 2nd option/HOF

Pip as a 4th option? :lol

Reality check:

Pip ANCHORED the defense and outscored the oppositions #2 option 5 of 6 times.

How many MJ Finals opponent #2 options would you take over Pippen?

I love that he cant argue stats because LeBron is number one and he can't argue Rings because Bill Russell is number one.

MJ has goat stats - #1 in PPG and efficiency rating with 10 scoring titles

nothing comes close

and MJ has the most rings as the best player in 3-pointer basketball/modern era, so that makes him goat - most rings as "the man" and best stats

Lebron is the only guy on the list with a low ring count...

despite hopping onto the league favorite 3 different times, and always having a high seed in the playoffs....

13 playoff runs with a high seed, 3 team-hops onto league favorites, and only 3 rings?.. :kobe:

a joke of a career
