OKC was definitely expected to be near the bottom of the league with everyone assuming CP3 wasn't going to play a tanking season and would demand out. How much of the success is on CP3 buying in and how much of it is Billy Donovan is up for debate but OKC have definitely surprised everyone.

I'm pretty sure most of that is assuming trades happened...which is still probably likely. They may be winning, but the top brass is going to do what they need to do for the future and not right now. I'd say there is a good chance Gallinari is gone before the trade dead line and maybe Schroder. I knew as long as the team was together that they'd be a playoff threat, though. Paul, Gallinari, Schroder, SGA, Adams. That's not a bad core.
