Im in no position to speak on Muslims in europe. I do quite a few foreign muslims here but not well enough to evaluate their motivations or character. Sri Lankans? Yes. Not muslims though. Hindu I think. They owned the private school my mom has worked at off and on for decades. I grew up with their kids. Anti America in general.....but got rich off charging american parents 10-15K a year for school. They generally seemed to think Sri Lanka was better and Americans were assholes....but the kids took advantage of American culture where possible.

The daughter caused a stir refusing an arranged marriage. She wouldnt go do it and was too old to be forced I guess. The son took his though. Hot Egyptian rich girl. So he ended up with all the family money. THe daughter works at the school as a 9-5 getting normal pay. The dad straight took her out of the family fortune.

I suspect he had a lot to say about America in private....but he didnt leave.

Plane was only 3 years old and had recently been serviced. On the other hand it was build by Boeing so it's possible there was a defect somewhere.
