Dallas down 1 with 7 seconds to go, and they're still in their three point offense. They don't need to shoot a three, they only need a two or to get to the foul line. So why is everyone still hanging out around the three point line? By the time Doncic makes a pass, there's nobody inside so when the defense is able to rotate, it forces a bad pass back out to a three point shooter standing 30 feet from the hoop.

And unlike Phil with the triangle offense, Morey hasn't won anything yet.

no one wants to shoot midrange anymore, well except Kawhi & Melo

speaking of Melo, he just recently demonstrated how to win in this kind of situation

And yet, it's better than a 3 on a last possession when you're down by less than three or tied.

Bron would rather have a groin injury than shoot a midrange

probably free throws too

I don't like Melo, but getting to that mid range spot is more efficient especially at the end of games when down 1, than say, in the 2nd quarter.

So I thought I'd actually watch a clip of what happened rather than that useless pic OP provided.

I guess they shouldn't have run a pick and roll with 7 seconds left. Not sure how much to fault here. Poor example of "the problem with today's offense at the end of games"
