Going from 2010 to 2020, I don't think many people would have envisioned this 3 point transformation of the game and the death of the midrange. Assuming rules stay the same, do you see a similar transformation in th enext 10 years or have players/teams identified the "best" way to play the game and this will be the recipe going forward?

It will certainly be a lot different, but hopefully teams will be allowed to play defense again, the refs will stop calling cheap fouls. Sucks if more player start to play like James Harden, and teams are getting used to this playstyle.

Rules will most likely not stay the same for another 10 years. The game will evolve around the rules unless an absolutely transcendent force (Zion?) forces the league to bend the rules to or against him.

Every 12 year old good prospect in the country is trying to be James Harden.

it will get more gimmicky.....a money spot.....4 points beyond half line....and the most fun....time weighed scoring...the faster you score within the 24 second clock closer you get to earning 2 points....for instance if you shoot with 23 left at the clock you get all 2 points....you make a shot with 1 second...you get 0.5 points.....gimmicks of all sorts to entertain people as virtual worlds and AI get more prominent
