Will be hell for Celtics without depth at center/pf. Raptors have plenty of depth there to exploit.

Who is better that's available? Fizdale? Hornacek? Byron Scott? Mike Brown? The best coach still available is maybe Thibodeau or Joerger, and their resumes still pale in comparison to Doc's (won a ring with one of the few superteams that worked, coached the Clippers to a playoff berth and two over .500 records when they were expected to be terrible, coached Orlando to a .500 record in his first year as a coach with Darrell Armstrong as his best player and got them to the playoffs during three straight years of T-Mac and scrubs). Phil Jackson, Jerry Sloan, etc. are retired... for the Clippers assistant coaches, Lue's Cleveland teams played no defense and he only won a championship because the Warriors spent too much energy beating the 96 Bulls record that year, and Cassell is unproven as a head coach, which would cause obstacles because the Clippers are trying to win NOW (yes, Kerr coached the Warriors to a championship in his first year, and while people expected them to be good that year, NOBODY expected them to have the best record in the league like they did that year). It would be dumb to change coaches without anybody that could take his place successfully (Doc was available when the Clippers fired Vinny, Carlisle was available when Avery was no longer the Mavs coach, Budenholzer was available when the Bucks got rid of Kidd in 2018, Mike Malone was available after the Nuggets fired Brian Shaw, etc.), as that is like the Knicks, Kings, Wolves, etc.

This was a really good game, and there's no shame in losing to the Celtics in Boston in two overtimes, especially since George got injured. Boston is one of the few teams that have beaten the Bucks this season and took the Clippers to the limit in LA as well...
