this is this last year of rookie contract, so technically he will be a RFA after this season, so only way he can get out is to refuse any extension and just sign 1 year QO.
can he ask to be traded once QO signed? or does he have to wait until 2022 when 1year QO contract finished then sign max with lakers?
cant wait for Tatum + Davis core.

A Kobe (may god bless him in the afterlife) disciple deserves to be with the Lakers. Not the freaking Celtics who have shown so much disdain for him already. Celtics fans and that franchise don't deserve him.
It's actually disgusting that Lakers fan like myself defended/had to defend Tatum when he was getting flak left and right ..... when MANY Celtics fans stood with their hands crossed in the corner amid all the incoming.... many of whom joined the choir about Kobe's "bad" influence rubbing on him. Obviously like the sheep that they are, they simply failed to understand that Tatum is a young, up-and-coming work in progress that needs time on the cooker. Now it's all about that love now that the Mamba Mentality is firing on all cylinders.... Hypocrites.
He belongs in the Laker family - in purple and gold. Celtics only won a single ring since the 80's. Old news.
Now to answer Bobpenguin - Bran for Tatum straight up no questions asked. Who says no?

technically almost every lakers fan here loves tatum cos how close he was to kobe. All of this crap is irrelevant but for the sake of accuracy I will point out that missy of what wr have been hearing from thr Laker fans regarding Tatum is what a bust he is, how terrible he was for shooting 40% earlier in the season and how hopeless the Celtics were fille having to rely on him and Brown. The idea that Laker fans have been defending him from Celtic fans is ridiculous and could only come from a known troll like Picker that has no interest in truth or reality. But I will say we haven't been hearing much from Realskipbayless, Airtupac and the other trolls that used to have so much to say on the subject.
I think the Pelicans did the correct thing in trading Davis for the Ingram package instead of taking a package centered around Tatum and sending him to the Celtics. Ingram was the better player of the two and LA put him in a trade. Also, Boston will be offering him a max deal. He isn't going anywhere. It shouldn't even be a discussion.

Sitting here imagining Tatum as a Laker instead of Kuzma.
