It seems good from the highlights. I see no threads of people complaining, so it must have been good compared to previous years.

One of the better allstar weekends + game tbh.

Honestly, it was one of the best games in recent memory, the players were actually playing ball rather than just putting on a show, defense was being played and fouls were being called, it was actually worth watching.
I believe the format actually helped a lot as the players were essentially playing 4 different games in 1 giving them more reason to try all game instead of just at the end.

Looks like they found a formula that can work for these slackers.

I like the target score format.
I think it could produce some pretty badass moments in the future, as long as both teams stay even until the 4th.

The 4th quarter was unreal, probably the best basketball I've ever watched (the previous decade was ruined by collusion).

Where are all the morons that were bitching 24/7 about Silver changing the format?

The format worked this year because it was relatively close going into the 4th, though the 24 points could be a bit too much since they played like 20 minutes in the last quarter to hit the target score.

Mostly the refs fault for that tbh

winners of the all-star game should have more ping pong balls in the lottery system.
