Wilkens was on the Dan Patrick show this morning. Says MJ told him he should have won.
Nique says if it were being held in Atlanta instead of Chicago, that he definitely would have come out on top.

This has nothing to do with being a James fan.
Sounds like you think that winning a dunk contest counts as a giant accolade on ones resume'. It's not like if MJ hadn't have won it ..... it'd be held against him or knocked him down a peg.

Maybe. Everyone goes on about how mj did 2 foul line dunks but Nique did a shit ton of windmills plus everything he does is off of 2 feet and mj does 1 and 2. I dont know, Mj's dunks were more versatile and prettier but Niques dunks were definitely more powerful and explosive. It was close. All things being equal it could of went to either but mj was the defending champ and he was at home so its fair giving him the trophy. You gotta beat the champ convincingly especially at home. Nique didnt do that.

"My gooodness the stupid".
Might have made a mistake. You're right there with the OP in terms of stupidity. Stick to speaking Iraqi if you feel like insulting people and can't do it in an intelligible way.

Kenny Smith would've agreed with that
MJ probably won because of the home advantage

the story of how, while you waited in line, another opportunity shows up, and deciding to stay in line, or hop over to the new line.
In the Grand scheme, doesn't matter, if you had something in mind, when you knew a line could be in store.

As always, best poster in the thread.

No. MJ was clearly better at that point in their careers. Dominique kept repeating his windmills and jackknife dunks. MJ took it to another level.

Dominique was doing windmills so MJs 2nd dunk was a 2 handed switch windmill that got a lower score. Dominiques 3rd dunk was a 2 handed windmill and Jordan foul lined. Jordan had 3 different dunks in the final compared to Wilkins 2 windmills and the height/power slam. Interesting if Jordan thought Wilkins deserved the win. Its like if Gordon had of won this year and then said Jones should have won 32 years later in the year 2052 but Jones said that Gordon told him that.
