He still had freak athleticism but by this point in his career he was much more skilled and very capable at taking over at the end of games. He had his typical great regular season but took it to another level in the post season and obtained his greatest career accomplishment, defeating the Golden State Warriors. I don't think his reputation as a player will ever surpass what it was following game 7 of the 2016 finals.

Nah. 2012-13 is his peak.

2009. Warriors during the 2016 Finals weren’t even a great team. Curry who was carrying them all year had a bum knee after tearing his MCL, no Bogut, no Draymond, Iguodala’s back gave on him. Harrison Barnes had one of the biggest chokes in NBA history. That was not the team that won 73 games in the regular season.
