That's a lot of protein powder, must be rough on the guts..

I usually have 4 eggs on toast with orange juice and or coffee. Trying to limit the powder crap to one a day..

Coffee and a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat/grain has become my favorite breakfast the past few years for some reason.

First thing I have is a couple swigs of coconut water.

Then usually Ill have eggs on pumpernickel or whole grain toast, a piece of fruit, glass of water, and a coffee.

But sometimes Ill have other stuff. Depends on the morning.

On Sunday I cook a bunch of bacon and make some hard boiled eggs and keep them in the fridge. Then during the week I have one egg, a piece of bacon, coffee and whatever fruit I have on hand.

Nothing. I fast every single day the last two years. Breakfast is pushed upon people thinking that you need it to be healthy. Or you need it to have a great start to your day. Or you just eat it becuase you enjoy the food. No harm. You don't need it though. And I personally don't want it anymore. I did that for 25+ years of my life and I got tired of it. I eat dinner at the latest of 6:30 PM every night and don't eat any food at all the next day until I get a small snack at 12 PM. After about a week or two your body will adjust and you won't feel hungry or loss of energy anymore and more importantly a slave to food you don't need. So basically I do the 18/6 fast. No food, only water for 18 straight hours, then a small snack around that 18th hour, then dinner around the 24th hour. Probably about 2 liters of water a day.

One the rare occasions I do eat breakfast. I eat the hell out of bacon, pancakes, sausages, etc.

Think breakfast (https://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/breakfast-lose-weight) isn't the most important meal of the day?
Think again, say researchers behind a new study that found the risk of heart (https://www.webmd.com/heart/picture-of-the-heart)-related death rises dramatically for folks who skip the morning repast.
Compared to people who always ate breakfast, those who say they never did had a 87% higher odds of dying from heart (https://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/rm-quiz-know-heart)-related causes, according to a study that tracked the health of 6,550 Americans for about 20 years.
The odds for stroke (https://www.webmd.com/stroke/default.htm), in particular, were especially elevated if people said they always skipped breakfast. These individuals had more than three times the odds of fatal stroke (https://www.webmd.com/stroke/guide/understanding-stroke-basics), compared to people who said they always ate in the a.m.

Water. Actual food early in the morning makes me nauseous for some reason. Been that way since I was a kid. Often I drink a bottle of ensure though.. Just can't eat stuff.. Feels like morning sickness that women get when pregnant lol. I hate waking up early, especially in cold winters

Exactly. It's not rocket surgery. If you want to be healthy eat real food, stay hydrated and exercise.

Skipping breakfast is a common part of many intermittent fasting methods.

This includes the 16/8 method, which consists of a 16-hour overnight fast followed by an 8-hour eating window.

This eating window usually ranges from lunch until dinner, which means that you skip breakfast every day.

Intermittent fasting has been shown to effectively reduce calorie intake, increase weight loss and improve metabolic health (14Trusted Source, 15Trusted Source, 16Trusted Source, 17Trusted Source, 18Trusted Source).

However, it's important to mention that intermittent fasting and/or skipping breakfast does not suit everyone. The effects vary by individual (19Trusted Source).

Some people may experience positive effects, while others may develop headaches, drops in blood sugar, faintness and lack of concentration (20Trusted Source, 21Trusted Source).

What you posted just takes into account if they eat breakfast or not. It doesn't go into if these people have horrible diets, or if they have underlining diseases or not. And most people skip breakfast just because they don't feel like eating it. Most people doing 9-5 just down the coffee, skip breakfast, then cram a bunch of crap in their diet between lunch and dinner.

It's not a random article, it's an actual double blind peer reviewed study over a long period of time. As far as most people skipping breakfast I'm not sure where you get your data but it's quite unhealthy. Anyway to each his own. If you want to get a stroke in your 50s be my guest.

My data is from my personal experience. Since I started fasting over two years ago and making better eating decisions I lost 35 pounds in a year by just doing that. I went from 215 at 6'1" down to 180 pounds. I was diagnosed with kidney disease stage 3A before started fasting. My kidney function was at 30-40%. I was borderline close to being on dialysis. After doing those changes within 6 months my kidney function improved up to 78%. I still have kidney disease, but it's stable and I have no noticeable effects except sometimes i might piss out protein more than usual.

My blood pressure went from 161/97 at a 87 BPM down to 115/79 at 57 BPM. All my unhealthy numbers went down and I don't have any unhealthy numbers any more.

So yes...I guess to each his own. Those studies don't mean anything to me because they don't look at the overall picture. It cherry picks a specific thing and doesn't take into account the plethora of variables. I feel better now and more healthy now at 35 than I did in my early 20s.

Dr. Paul was right dumbass. Any change in health behavior would improve the condition of a 30 year old slob with blood pressures in the 160s. It wouldn't have mattered if you ate less throughout the day or you were fasting dipshit.
