The four teams with a below-.300 record: Timberwolves, Hawks, Cavs, Warriors.

Just pondering their cores, off the top of my head:

Wolves now built around D'Angleo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns

Hawks have Trae Young, John Collins and Clint Capela (who has been injured).

Cavs have Collin Sexton, Kevin Love and Andre Drummond

And the Warriors of course have Steph, Klay, Dray and Wiggins.

Will be interesting to see which of these cores change the most this summer.

Jabari went to the King’s I believe.

And I’m nearly sure Wiggins is only on the warriors to match salary when they try to flip him and 2 top picks(their own and Minnesota’s 2021) for Giannis if he doesn’t tell the bucks he will sign back this summer.

At least Russell and KAT will have us significantly better next year when they finally start playing together for a long time.

Malik Beasley might truly have been a steal. We'll see...

Hawks need a few more pieces but they'll be in good position to make the playoffs next season.
Warriors will obviously be fine next season and add more pieces.

Wolves lol, build around beta Kat and deangeslow? Enjoy that

And Cavs:lol probably the worst at drafting talent of all time. They'll be bottom of the east again next year. Stuck with love, dumbond and all their young scrubs.

Yeah cavaliers need work. They have a good young core in Garland and Porter but have a ways to go to start building around someone. And we’ve got to deal with Kevin love for the next 3 years

You may have a point that we botched multiple drafts in the past.

But talking about the last years like that is just trolling.
Sexton was the freaking 8th pick. 20 PPG scorer on 46% in his 2nd season.
Needs to get better as a playmaker but not bad for an 8th pick.

Kevin Porter JR was a steal at the end of the 1st round.

Garland hasn't been consistent and I'm not completely sold on him yet.
But tell me who else the Cavs should have chosen in the top-heavy 2019 draft ??
Everybody had Garland ranked as a top 5 pick.

And the jury is still out on injured Dylan Windler.

Warriors could very well once again be the best team in the league next season if they get someone like Wiseman from the draft

The greatest takeaway from this thread is that the Knicks are above .300

Warriors can trade that 1st for a big easily and go after a championship
