Mcdyess with his 44 inch vertical and habit of posterizing people refusing to challenge Mutombo in the 01 all star game despite being literally waved in:

Tyler Hansborough being outraged till he realized it was Ron Artest behind him:

What about the one with Lebron and Nazr Mohamed.. LeBron and Stephen Jackson when he was with the Hawks.. (nba confiscated tapes). Plenty of instances from LeBeta.

Lebron and Nazr was a flop. A fairly hilarious one at that....but not really a backdown. Just being a ho.

Dont even remember the Jackson one.

LeBron was trying to act tough to Stephen Jackson and Jax was having none of that and bullied the kid. That vid surfaced online way back when and NBA/ESPN and the powers that be ensured those tapes were cleaned from the net. You know how pathetic the posse can get.

And please.. this was a good ol taking him behind the woodshed bully move.

We actually had a good argument about that at the time with Pauk(I think) explaining that Lebron didnt flop.....he just got shoved with all of Nazrs strength. I didnt see it then and I dont see it now. HE was on a run of flopping vs those Bulls. Acting like Kirk Hinrich hurt him. Heat fans were being real soft around that time talking about the Bulls were thugs. Lebron was just exaggerating all the contact to get calls.

Dude Isaiah Thomas was tough as nails. He came from a ridiculously bad neighborhood. In a really violent city. Are you kidding me?

Besides that, it is interesting, they both seemed a lil sweet. And both had flamboyantly gay sons

I actually dont think Lebron flopped there. Nazr Mohamed is just as big as Lebron and pushed him full strength when Lebron wasn't paying 100% attention to him. It honestly makes complete sense to me physics-wise watching it.

Carmelo and his sucker punch and run, obviously. He still can't live that down.

It's not that I mean to bring up negative things about Lebron. If the man died I would cry. But he came to mind, how when sometimes the going gets tough he visibly shut down. Gets listless. I admire him for at least pushing forward the following games.

I agree with this.

Edit: I'm re-watching it now, I can't believe I'm having doubts. I guess before I gave Lebron the benefit of the doubt.

That brawl was a mess. I remember the Nuggets leading by an enormous margin and then a Denver player came down and dunked with the game over, which angered the NY guys. Melody sucker punched someone and then backpedaled. But a lot of people got involved.

Ofcourse Lebron sold it, but that was a legit shove... he just... embraced it... :)
That shit will send anybody off balance, dont think he could have stood his ground even if he wanted to, he aint THAT strong/big and wasnt ready anyways for a shove (stood all upright, feet together), maybe if he like got all low & wide going into a Sumo stance or something.... :P

He definitely could tried to not fall flat back down like that like he just tried to draw a charge or something tho...

People less physically imposing than Lebron get shoved by large people and dont fall 20 feet....if at all. Its harder to push over a person who doesnt want to fall than he made it look. He fell to draw attention. Huge guys have been shoving people who stayed upright for the entire history of sports/the world. You fall when you wanna fall or you get tripped. He was begging for a tech before he even finished sliding.

A good example is when Ben shoved the shit out of Artest, it was much harder and more malicious than what Nazr did to LeBron

This is also the answer to OP's question. Nothing matches the cowardice of Artest's backdown. Especially considering what he did next.

Lebron wasn't prepared for the push AT ALL...if he was then he would not have fallen.

There are plenty Lebron flops where it's obvious it was a flop...not in this example though. To me, FLOPS are EGREGIOUS. If you WANT to say Lebron sold it a little...then that's a possible argument (I still disagree). But he didn't FLOP there.
