Some of the latest Xbox Series X news: the console will reportedly support four generations of Xbox games.

And it'll reportedly support frame rates of up to 120 fps in games, which is... crazy.

Specs aside this upcoming feature is clutch on MS behalf

Smart Delivery: This technology empowers you to buy a game once and know that – whether you are playing it on Xbox One or Xbox Series X – you are getting the right version of that game on whatever Xbox you’re playing on. We’re making the commitment to use Smart Delivery on all our exclusive Xbox Game Studios titles, including Halo Infinite, ensuring you only have to purchase a title once in order to play the best available version for whichever Xbox console they choose to play on. This technology is available for all developers and publishers, and they can choose to use it for titles that will be release on Xbox One first and come to the Xbox Series X later.

In other words if you get the next GTA6 for your old Xbox One for w/e reason, you won't need to buy a 'remastered' version of the same game to run it on your new Xbox Series X in the future. It will patch update and render quality to the new hardware free of charge :applause:

That's some pretty cutting edge hardware for a console, some of it not even available to the PC consumer market yet

At least $800-900 part by part alone, I suspect Sony/Microsoft will take a $$$ loss on their consoles and sell them at $499-599 again. Their revenue stream comes from controller/games/attachments

Going from crappy notebook type 1.6ghz Jaguar CPU to almost fully desktop powerful 3.8ghz Ryzen 8c/16t.

1.2/1.8tf old gcn architecture GPU to brand new RDNA 2 with 12+ TF, which is in the basic comparable Teraflops similar to 16TF GCN.

50mb/s old HDD to 2.5gb/s SSD

These specs are better than 90% gaming PC out there. Good job Microsoft and hopefully Sony with PS5. Next gen is gonna be amazing if we all don't get coronas
