Leonard is the better player right now and prime for prime. Durant is higher all-time simply due to longevity.

All time & prime, Kevin Durant.
Right now, Leonard because Durant is injuried.

KL right now but KD all time. Also KD usually whoops him in their individual matchups

Thanks to Zaza, we didn't see the arse whooping Kawhi would have done to KD and the Warriors

Durant is the better scorer and more dominant player. Kawhi is the better all around player because his scoring is on KD’s level but his defense is quite better. Also Kawhi is more clutch and less emotionally affected.

How can Durant be a better scorer but Kawhi is on his level?

I agree with most of what you said though - Durant the better scorer while Kawhi the better defender and more well rounded player

Leonard is definitely not better than Durant. Let's stop.

Tho that Michael style of play is very clear btw..totally off-topic but did it again yesterday. Doesn't have the off-ball game like MJ. But some very strong similarities.

It would be a lot closer than people are making it out to be, Durant and Kawhi are 1a/1b.

Durant would take like 6 out of 10 games if not 50% tied for both.

All time it's obviously Durant for now, but prime for prime? They're absolutely similar caliber players

Hard to decide, no wrong answer, but Kawhi is a better two-way player which is enough to counter KD's offensive edge. I prefer players with his mindset as well, he's a throwback in a lot of ways and a player I suspect would be dominant under any rule/style. Durant for all that talent has always given the impression that he's not an Alpha or thrives under physicality which is a shame for someone that physically gifted and talented. For me and several others that's always going to hold him back, what's holding Kawhi back is the lack of longevity (that's honestly the only thing that could prevent any top 10-15 talks with him) and the ideal situations he's been in but he's an assassin with no significant weakness physically or mentally... when he can physically play of course but as long as he's not doing that shit in the playoffs I'll let it slide somewhat.

Obviously KD is higher all-time but in terms of peak play I again do not see a wrong answer, enjoy watching both and see it as a matter of preference

Tony Allen was the only player capable of stopping Durant

Love them both but KD is basically unstoppable. Sometimes he's not aggressive enough with his drives and I wish he'd mix it up more in the post but that's just being nitpicky.
