Who do you say are the best players in the NBA who have NOT been blessed with great speed or quickness?
One is Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. Who is on TV right now and inspired this topic.
But who else?
Stars or non-stars, whichever.

In terms of today's modern NBA stars, I'm trying to think of how many are on the slower side of things for their position.
None are "slow" athletically, of course. But some haven't been blessed with blazing speed. I guess it would mostly be power forwards and centers.
Maybe a better question is, who are the slowest NBA stars at each position.

Zach Randolph was one.
In the guard world right now, perhaps Fred VanVleet.

Does Pierce count? He was never the fastest.

That's who I first thought of. With other slow players, you can tell that they're trying to run as fast as they can, it's just that their fastest isn't very fast. Anderson looks like he's out for a morning jog when he's running a so-called fast break. Very calm, taking his time, while defenders are buzzing around him and trying to poke the ball away or position themselves to block the shot and seemingly moving twice as fast as he is, and Anderson just shifts the ball to his other hand or twists his body and somehow he's rising up for an easy shot.
