Let's hope so because it will make it all that much funnier when they don't make the Finals.

If they do 70 wins, let's not hope they repeat the biggest feat of the 2016 warriors, which is blowing a 3-1 lead in the finals. 😂

I actually hope not.

Seventy wins will be especially inglorious in the end without a championship to cap it off, and they won't maximize their chances for the latter with less preplayoffs rest and gargantuan pressure on their shoulders for their likely first Finals. This team is wise enough to know that—especially with the 2016 Warriors benchmark fresh in their minds—which is why I voted no.

Sixty-five wins will be more than enough to clinch playoffs-wide HCA and Giannis's consecutive MVP at this rate, which is all I want them to reap from the regular season.

If they were to overreach here, it's more than possible they'd become the second titeless team out of three seventy-win ones.

67-15 is perfect

I'm looking forward they do, but doubt it very much.
It'll put more narratives during and after the Playoffs.

They have a 4 loss buffer actually (they're 52-8 so if they go 18-4 that gives them a 70-12 record). I don't see the point chasing 70. The record is 73, so they would literally have to go 22-0 to get to 74. I think they're better off taking the foot off the gas the last week or so. They'll probably end up with 68 wins without exerting themselves trying to max out the number of games they can win.

well, the 73-9 Warriors had a 10.8 diff, the 72-10 Bulls had a 12.3 diff

the Bucks are currently at 12.3, and with their last season ending on the Eastern Conference Finals,
home court advantage over the Lakers is just about the only thing on their mind over chasing any kind of record.

I looked at basketball-reference after your comment and they hadn't updated their site to say 52-9 yet ( I missed yesterday's games and didn't know they had played Miami). Fair enough, I stand corrected. Anyways we both agree that they aren't likely breaking 70 and I don't think that's a carrot they need to bother reaching for.

No

and considering their SOS it will be a disappointment

they are in fact already underperforming their expected wins

I don’t understand how we’re still playing. Give the Bucks the title and end the season early in honor of Kobe and to save everyone’s lives from the coronavirus.

Facts  :applause:

19 more games, they need 18 - 1. Quite difficult with Giannis injury today they lost to Suns.

I doubt it. Regardless of the injuries, coach bud only seems to screw up the rhythm during march once his team have posted a good standing already. I mean this already happened before during the hawks best season in 2015. They could have won more than exactly 60 games if they didn't lose three or more consecutive games before and during april that year.
