I have to keep reminding myself that Zion is still a teenager and has only played a little over a dozen games in the NBA. Right now he is yet very raw and is relying almost completely on physical gifts, and when he can't "bully" anyone, he's not really that effective. Almost all of his rebounding is based on being able to out jump his opponent as opposed to actually boxing out to obtain rebounding position. That's just fine at this stage of his career. He has time to improve and will definitely figure it out.

No, that's not Phil, it's the entire Knicks organisation who never welcomed Zingis.

The players on Knicks froze him out for 2 straight seasons.

Mavs players did the same with Luka, but the difference is that Cuban acted and shipped their asses out. Knicks never did that.
