championship as a player
6 x championship as a coach/assistant coach
executive of the year
3 x championship as executive

Phil-dog might have more rings as a coach, but he was a horrible executive
MJ goat player, but not goat in anything else except table tennis

Imo how good you were as a player should be the ultimate decider, that's why The Logo would be my pick. Definite shout out to Bird though, who's won MVP, FMVP, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year

its too bad Bird didn't coach that long. Im sure he could have eventually won championship as a coach.

GOAT NBA Dude includes all phases of basketball.

Jerry West and Larry Bird are the first that come to mind.

Jerry West but if we take away the player aspect it’s Red. The times he outsmarted the league are hard to count.

The Hawks pretty much gave away being the Celtics when they screwed him.

Not only did the Hawks draft Cousy and refuse to give him the contract he wanted they drafted Bill Russell too. Hawks traded Reds favorite player against his wishes so he left. He gave Cousy the 9K a year the Hawks wouldn’t then traded a scorer for Russell after the draft. He also drafted Hondo away from the Cleveland browns. He was a wr and in camp when Red talked him out of it. Assuming he’d stay in the nfl is why Hondo fell in the draft. That was 11 rings. He then drafted Dave Cowens and Jojo White to win 2 more rings. Later he drafted Larry Bird a year before he came out of college which amazingly nobody else thought to do. That’s why Larry went 6th not first. Red just left him in college for another year.

Later(after the Celtics and Clippers technically swapped franchises but that’s another story) he traded a borderline starter and a pick for Parish and a pick he used on Mchale. He also robbed the suns for Dennis Johnson. 3 more rings. He also drafted Paul Pierce.

Red was instrumental in all 17 Celtic rings.

I'm going with West on this too. Better player than anyone else in consideration other than Bird, and has done way more than Bird as an executive.

He probably would have as an exec if not for Ron Artest getting suspended for Malice at the Palace.

Call me a fanboy but whatever, to me it’s Jordan. He’s the GOAT player and the only one to ever own a team. Sure, he’s been a bad owner, but he’s still the one player turned owner there is and basically doubled his net worth and became a multi billionaire as a result.
