Tatum and Brown improving as players and Hayward finally being healthy is what made them a better team this season, Theis improving and them getting rid of Horford were key as well. Boston lucked out with that situation because Irving's body didn't hold up, but it's not like they're legitimate title contenders. He wasn't a bad fit, but Tatum obviously wanted to be the man so good for him for pushing Kyrie out and getting his opportunity.
